Description:  New sculptured course with lots of sand and water. Think of it as a mini-Heartland Crossing. Tall fescue grass outside the roughs flank many areas of the course.

Built: 1999

Fairway Grass:  Bentgrass, always in good shape

Greens: Bentgrass, fairly flat. Hole #9 is two-tiered.

Water on Holes: On 7 holes

Sand Traps:  On 8 holes, quite a few fairway bunkers.

Course Markings:  Cart path plaques at 150, 200 and 250 yards.  Sprinkler heads marked.

Signature Holes:  # 7 is a 478 yd par 5 down a narrowing fairway hard to a long pond on the right and a dam of fescue wide left. The green is set back at the far end of the water separated from it by sand.

Course Comments

The course has far exceeded my expectations, It is a great look from all 4 sets of tees. I would encourage everyone regardless of which tee they are playing, to play the elevated black tee on hole number 6 at least once.
