Course Record: 66 by
Garry Nelson |
Description:
Busy, upscale-style course
at a reasonable price. Tricky and tough as the slope rating suggests.
Built on rolling prairie with lots and lots of water. 5 holes criss-cross a pleasant creek in a deep valley.
Built: 1991
Fairway Grass:
Bentgrass
Greens:
Bentgrass, usually fairly fast.
Water on Holes:
On 14 holes, bring lots of balls
Sand Traps:
Fairway and/or green traps on 17 holes. Quite
course sand.
Course Markings:
Scorecard lists all important distances.
Sprinkler heads are measured and marked.
Signature
Holes:
#10 doglegs right
and narrows between a line of trees on the right and a lake on the
left. A very accurate approach shot is needed to land on a peninsula
green.
