Description:  Flat city parks course. Good value. Popular with Juniors and Seniors. In many areas fairways practically touch each other.

Built: 1921

Fairway Grass:  Bentgrass, always in good shape

Greens: Average to small

Water on Holes: None

Sand Traps:  On most holes

Course Markings:  150 yard posts.  The accuracy of some are suspect.

Indianapolis Parks Comments

Douglass Golf Course is very attractive to beginners and seniors. A short to average course characterized by few hazards and small, well trapped greens. A new driving range is also available for players.
