description:
Eagle Creek is the crown
jewel of the Indy Parks courses.
The Sycamore Course is hilly and long, it requires
distance control and any errant shots are penalized. 6 short,
flat, links-style holes have been added that are quite easy by
comparison to the first run of holes.
The Pines Course is actually the tougher of the two.
It's flatter with less trees but has a 450yd par 4
built: 1974
with 27 holes, 9 more added in 2001.
fairway
grass:
Bentgrass, always in good shape
greens:
Bentgrass.
water on
holes:
Sycamore on 6 holes, Pines on 5 holes.
sand traps:
On virtually every hole
course
markings:
Stakes at 150 yards, sprinkler heads marked, dots on
cart paths.
