Our Comments
Just bring your irons (except for the 240yd 9th hole).
Men's tees are 63, 89, 95, 105, 130, 135, 140, 171, 240yds.
Most people walk, easy to do, especially when carrying
only a few clubs. Still, there are a couple of places retracing your
steps is annoying (to tees # 5 and 9 for instance) and riding carts
are only $4.
Great ease of access with a cart. Very suitable for
handicapped players.
Some people have been known to sneak a beer onto the
course without getting caught. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Free biodegradable (corn) tees! |

4/26/02 - I was very impressed with the condition of this
course. Despite the inexpensive play and the backyard atmosphere,
the course is very well kept. It is deceptively challenging for a
Par-3/Executive, especially for a novice like myself. The staff was
very friendly, making the overall experience a pleasant one.
Challenges include water, narrow fairways and sloped
greens. There were a number of people there for lessons and
driving, so it is clearly a popular place. I would recommend this
course to anyone, especially early in the season to brush up on
the game before hitting the regulation courses. - Kenny Anderson
6/8/00 - I won an auction for Fishback Golf Course (just
south of Lebanon), and my wife and I just played there today. At
first, although I knew it was an executive 9, it seemed very
cramped, but the second time around I appreciated it a lot more.
After the front 9, we bought a bucket of balls (very reasonable
price) just to tweak up our game. The driving range was fantastic
and the owners' father was very very friendly. I will be back!
Although the course is very short and the only time you would need
to break out the long iron (or driver) is on the 9th tee, it is very
beautiful and very well groomed. I would recommend that everyone try
this course out. - Tim Green |
