description:
Most holes are wide open
for big drivers but short enough for everyone to reach the greens in
regulation. The tough part comes 100 yds from the greens where
tree lines, water, sand, mounds, and other inconveniences make an
accurate short game necessary.

Morningstar is challenging to the better golfer, yet it
maintains characteristics which allow a four hour round of golf to
be possible.
Morningstar is known for its greens - relatively small and
quite undulating. In fact to score well you must have a good short
game! Multiple teeing areas on each hole lead you off through tree
lined fairways. Water comes into play on eight holes in the form of
creeks or ponds.
The original barn on the property (circa mid 1800's) has
been renovated and is used for the clubhouse. The old beams were
kept intact for a rustic look. The large deck overlooking the 9th
hole serves as outdoor seating for food service.
