Our Comments

The front nine is very short. The back nine is more expansive with less trees.

Holes # 11 & 12 are 234yds and 239yds.

The Supreme Golf retailer is attached.

There are many Junior and Ladies golf clinics available.

6/1/04 - Greens are almost completely free of ball marks - a notable achievement for a par 3 course that gets as much play as it does.

4/24/03 - Greens were quick and smooth. Not pocked marked at all for a par 3 course. We did wish for lusher grass in the "fairways" though.

6/18/00 - The course wasn't extra-busy on Father's Day because it was very wet. The greens, though, were remarkably consistent and predictable. Quite nice. Fairways at Orchard are nothing spectacular but acceptable for a par 3 family course.

1/25/03 - Orchard is a great place to practice for beginners. I know because I just started playing golf this past summer and my game has dramatically improved since I started playing at Orchard.

8/1/02 - This course is fairly easy. It has very good green condition, which gives you a challenge to putt on, especially with the slopes on the green. The small length of the course makes it useful for your short game practice. The only real challenge on the course is the 11th hole. You have to make it straight over a small stream or you need to go short of the stream to obtain a good approach to the hole. This is a good course, especially for beginners and people that want to work on their short game.

7/13/01 - This is the course to play for all beginners. I enjoy playing this course more than most of the other I've played here in Indy. The prices are great, and the staff are friendly and outgoing. The front nine is relatively easy, while the back nine has some water traps I've lost more than one ball in. Give it a shot... - Randy Warren

5/26/99 - This is a great place to learn to hit irons. While it can be very busy, they do provide benches on each tee for the wait. It is also an interesting place to play after dark.
