9/22/04 - Course was in great shape and I really enjoyed the layout. The greens were perfect - true and fast. Beverage cart met us twice on each nine. Got around in a little over 4 hours. Using Zoo Book coupon made it a good deal. Otherwise the regular green fee is too steep. Overall good experience. - Steve

9/1/04 - Plum Creek is in exceptional shape. The staff was very friendly and the course played challenging even from the blue tees. The greens and tee boxes were true and flawless as usual. I consider Plum Creek a wonderful day and experience for all skill levels. Keep up the good work. - Erick

8/3/04 - This was the first time I played this course and was very satisfied with the conditions. It was very challenging course from the tips. The tees, fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The greens were fast but held very good. I went with a friend and used the free green fee coupon with cart offer and only paid $62 for both players. Great value with the Zoobook coupon. - Steve

6/24/02 - I played Plum Creek for the first time since early last summer and I was very surprised. The course was in the best condition I have ever seen. The greens were hard and fast, with very true rolls. The fairways and tee boxes were very lush with few blemishes (surprising with the hot dry weather the last couple of weeks). The beverage cart even had ice-water towels (no charge) to help with the extreme heat. Overall, a great experience! - David Sullivan

6/19/02 - I have played this course twice this year and have thoroughly enjoyed it. While the price seems a little high, the staff was very friendly. The course was in great condition both times, the greens perhaps the best I've played this year: cut to a very good speed, very consistent, and true roll. If you miss a putt here, you can only blame yourself. The pace can get a little slow here, which I think is due to the water that is prevalent on nearly every hole. (If you're a long hitter, try aiming far right over the water on the 17th... if you make it, it's a beautiful thing to watch.) Otherwise, play each shot as the course intends and you'll do well. Overall, the experience was very positive and we'll probably go back soon. - Jim Cota

5/23/02 - Took two friends out for a twilight round. Course was in good shape, rates were ok (30/walk or 40/ride). Very slow pace. It took us 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the first 9.

10/8/01 - The course was in overall good shape. The greens had recently been aerated and top dressed with sand. The greens putted very true considering their condition and were lightning fast as usual. Still a very easy course though because of the lack of length.

4/14/01 - The course was in its usual excellent shape. Right now, its $50 w/ cart on the weekend, and I think that's a fair price for this course. Unfortunately, regular prices ($64 w/ cart on weekend) go into effect May 1. I'm sure I'll pay that rate a couple times this year, but Plum Creek won't be real high on my list at that price. - John Coombs

7/23/00 -A very nice course. The greens were very smooth and fast, which made for little or no break to putts. The course is laid out very well, houses close but a safe distance for even the worst golfer. Keep the ball in the short grass, deep rough was 15 inches at times. Take lots of balls. The price is very high for the type of course. One time playing is enough. - William Byrd.

7/18/99 - John Coombs - I agree with most of Ben's comments (below). Played there today, and the course was in great shape. The greens were firm and very fast, which makes this course seem a little unfair at times. Most of all, I definitely concur with Ben about the costs at Plum Creek. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing there, but I think they charge too much for the kind of course they have. It doesn't really discourage me from playing there, because it's pretty easy to get a weekend tee time there with short notice. But the cost is probably the reason it's easy to get a weekend tee time.

7/15/99 - Ben Hoadley - The golf course was in extremely good shape. The fairways were not chewed up or burned despite the recent heat wave. The greens were very fast. The course was very impressive. - - - Unfortunately, the golf course charged outrageous green fees, costly meals, and made a killing on concessions.

6/16/99 - John Coombs - I've played at Plum Creek the last two weekends. The course was in excellent shape from tee to green. Once you get on the green, there is no doubt this course is a Pete Dye creation. The greens are where most of the difficulty in this course can be found. However, holes 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, and 18 are very challenging from tee to green. One drawback to this course is price. It is overpriced when comparing it to other courses in Central Indiana.
