description:  Crowded city course. Plenty of water and the fairways seem narrow but really a fairly easy course to play. Pleasantly wooded. The prettiest city course inside I-465.

built: 1929

fairway grass:  Kentucky blue grass, always in good shape

greens: Most sloping or domed.

water on holes: On 8 holes

sand traps:  On 15 holes

course markings:  

signature holes:  # 15 is the longest hole at 550 yds. The tee shot is over a nice valley.

Indianapolis Parks Comments

This beautiful course encompasses open fairways and two creeks which wind through slightly rolling terrain and wooded areas. Located only two miles from downtown, the course is attractive to the business community.
