Our Comments

Very satisfying course even though all holes are straightforward hits to small, unprotected greens.

Bring a bunch of clubs as the holes include distances of 155, 165, 180, 185, 200, and 210.

Gets busy after school and weekends. One of the most played courses in town. The Sunday morning crowd often doesn't let up until around 3pm.

The greens are cut long and seem to withstand the heavy use very well.

6/23/04 - Getting attention. The fairways are smoother after constant rolling and cutting. The smallish greens hold well and are for the most part smooth and very puttable, although still slow.

/8/04 - Jim Hague of Tameka Woods GC and Indian Springs GC has bought the course and is sprucing it up.

9/17/02 - Guaranteed slowest greens in town - but smooth and not at all pock-marked.

4/25/99 - The greens were actually "furry" but they probably need to leave them long to accommodate the traffic. All in all, the grass condition was quite good - especially considering the patrons are often quite new to the game. The staff were very busy but took time to give each customer the attention they needed.

7/14/04 - The course has improved in some aspects since new management has taken over. Greens are groomed for heavy traffic and very slow. Challenging course due to varied hole lengths. - Chris C.

5/5/04 - The greens are the slowest in town. It's got some tricky shots and the water doesn't drain very well in some places, but nothing is better than the 4 man night scrambles they have monthly with glow balls and sticks on the pins and tees. Nothing tests your concentration and depth perception aiming into the pitch black sky at a little glowing object 150 yards away. 2 under usually wins, and that's not very good in a scramble format. Everyone's got to try it at least once. Hope to see you there. - Brandon M.

6/11/03 - Fairways were not too bad, but in my opinion the greens were terrible. I haven't played many par 3 courses, but of the ones I have, this was the worst. I recommend Otte or Orchard.

4/21/03 - Great place to work on a short game. - Steve H.

9/2/02 - I've never seen anybody drive a cart between the tee markers before. Granted, there aren't distinct tee boxes and you expect to see some beginners on a par 3 course. Shaggy greens. - Doug Roberts

5/6/99 - This is a nice par 3 with very friendly owners where you can get in a quick game of golf. Greens are always in good shape.
