8/20/03 - Great course. Nice boxes,
greens good shape, firm and quick. Fairways are in great shape,
don't be afraid of back nine - it plays like a good placement
course. Enjoy for $40 on weekend. Staff was super friendly. - Ed
8/9/02 - Played Wildcat on a Friday
morning for $30 and found the staff to be very nice as usual. The
course is one of my favorites to play because it is always in great
shape and it's fairly challenging. The folks here have done a
fabulous job maintaining the course. Tee boxes are well taken care
of and the greens are fairly smooth. I live in Hamilton County, and
for the price, I prefer to drive a little ways to play Wildcat
Creek. Great course. - Steve
6/14/02 - The course is in fabulous
condition as always. I have played here several times in the past
few years, and it has consistently been in top shape. Greens,
fairways, and tees are all lush and well maintained. I would
describe the layout as a real shot maker's course. The design blends
sand, water, and trees expertly and the result is a very playable,
yet challenging course. Many of the par fours favor correctly shaped
tee shots. This is especially true on the beautiful stretch of holes
on the back nine. This side has some of the best holes anywhere and
is very similar to Twin Bridges' back nine in many regards. Overall,
this is a wonderfully conditioned course with an excellent design on
a very attractive piece of property. Definitely worth the quick trip
up US 31. - Adrian Terrel
9/2/99 - It is in the best condition of
any course that I have played in central Indiana for 6 weeks. I
asked a young man in the pro shop why this was so and he said
because they are not afraid to spend the money. During this dry
period I highly recommend getting to Kokomo and playing this course.
Take plenty of balls for the back nine if you are a duffer like me.
Great course...great condition...fair
and challenging. Scenic in country setting. Friendly staff and a
fine facility. |
