Course Details
Description: Hilly,
serene, established course. Home to a local, small(er) town
country club with houses backing to Hole #3. Built to fit the
landscape.
Plenty of mature trees and elevation
change. Bends and twists in fairways require precise, but not
long, tee shots.
Men's tee's are usually played Front
(1-9) and Back (10-18) to make 18 holes.
Built: 1954.
Fairway grass: Bentgrass.
Always in good shape.
Fairway width: Varies.
Never unfair.
Greens: Bentgrass.
Green size: Average
Water: None.
Sand traps: On 7
holes.
Blind Holes: Some
blind shot required.
Signature Hole: Hole
#6 is 290yds downhill to the front of the club, straight to a
large green. Hole #12 is a dogleg 334yd hole using the same green
a lower fairway.
Walking: Hilly but
very walkable. |

Comments
A very nice course to play. A variety
of short, long, doglegs, wide landing areas, narrow fairways. We
recommend it.
We like hole # 7 a lot, the long
slanting fairway looks daunting and either a slice or a hook is
devastating. |
